One UK headline that did surprise me in terms of US coverage was the Guardian putting Tucker Carlson's firing on the front page of the UK print edition. A huge swathe of its UK readers would not know who he was. But obviously the media is often obsessed with the media :), and more importantly the Murdoch connection gives it a lot of legs as a story. As to the 👑coronation ( hmm corona ) ... I am somewhat interested in👸 female royalty & somewhat saddened to see yet another female leader go silent ... it brings me to a sadness I felt when Hilary was destroyed... Pelosi too ... the prime minister of Finland Sanna Marin ... I feel these losses as a young woman who needs to see women in leadership positions that affect legislation & governance round the world ... yes glad for Kamala ... but truly upset about the open misogyny, racism , homophobia & climate denial at the heart of the open push for authoritarianism... can only hope that the fact it’s out in the open, brings more people to their senses ....
